Without SEO you wouldn't be able to locate any of the millions of pages online. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is the process that must be used to direct traffic to a website; it is really what fuels the Internet. SEO connects everyone who is looking for anything with the pages that they need to see. Getting directions to a place you don't know exists, is impossible.

Your traffic is produced from "natural" or "organic" search results of all relevant items and information sitting somewhere in cyberspace. Search engine optimization for organic search has nothing to do with paid organic search inclusions. These listings such as Google AdWords 'Sponsored Links' fall under the technique known as, Search Engine Marketing (SEM) which is derived from paid advertising found on all the major search engines results pages.

How SEO Can Increase Your Sales in Internet Marketing

Organic SEO Marketing is done solely without paid search inclusion and is more effective in landing higher converting traffic. This is not to say that there is no value in Google AdWords, it is just completely different. The primary goal of expertly implemented SEO is to create high visibility and easy access to a website by achieving a consistent placement on the first page of the major search engines.

Over 92% of website traffic comes from organic links from the first page of the Google, Yahoo, and Bing. Now imagine the potential traffic that your website will gain. This number can be beyond astounding in size, making extremely effective and phenomenally profitable. Can you still do this by yourself? Of course, but how much time and headache are you willing to spare?

Where to Find Affordable SEO Hosting Packages

Your Internet marketing strategy can be self-implemented through many hours of SEO research and it is not impossible to optimize a website on your own. However, even after countless hours of tinkering with SEO techniques you might not find yourself ranking where you want to be.

This is one of the reasons why businesses eventually lead to hiring a Google AdWords reseller and offer to pay for a link on Google's first page. This can become very expensive and lead to poor ROI in short order. So why mess around? Get things rolling with a professional Organic SEO Marketing strategy.

SEO Implementation Starts With Domain Name Selection

Why are my PPC ads rarely seen on Google's first page?

If you're wondering about why pay-per-click for ads won in a bidding war with other competitors only occasionally appears on the front page for your target keywords it is probably because your victory was brief. If you are not monitoring your PPC campaigns consistently you can rest assured some of your higher budget competitors are.

Unless your willing to outspend them as well as put your valuable time into monitoring your PPC campaigns everyday, then a strategy for Organic SEO Marketing is the answer. In the long run, your much better off to invest in permanent "internet real estate" provided by SEO rather than rent property from Google...you can be sure the rent will increase as competition grows, and if you don't pay, you can count on the fact that Google will be quickly to evict you.

Seo

SEO is a common practice in online marketing. It involves using specific highly targeted keywords in your website content and other marketing tools to drive traffic to your website based on the terms that people search for. More plainly, you simply use common search terms (such as "Houston real estate" for a real estate website) and add them to your website text and headlines so that it gets higher search engine rankings based on the content. This is one of the easiest marketing tools to use, because you just add certain words to the text that you already have, and the search engines pick up your site and rank it according to the keyword density.

However, there is a very fine line in the SEO world between proper SEO use and keyword stuffing, which is cause for banishment from many search engines. You can't just go through your site and put the keywords that you decide to use anywhere you want. You need to consider the word count of your page or pages, and base how much SEO you can use off of that. For example, if you've got a 400 word count article, your keyword density would need to be around 4-5 uses of the word or phrase within that text. This is based on the standard accepted policy of having a 1%-2% keyword density in your articles.

If you have a page of 500 words, and use the keyword more than 10 times, you might end up getting kicked out of search engine rankings because you are considered to be keyword stuffing. There is some room for speculation, but if your website has no valuable content and is stuffed full of keywords, you will likely be banned from search engine rankings. Not that you'd want a website for your business without useful content in the first place, but you would be surprised at how many people actually do this. By knowing the effective way to use SEO on your website, you'll be much better able to get the results that you want from this method of marketing your business.

The same practices hold true for any article marketing that you do, as having keywords in your articles will allow them to be more easily found by search engines when people look for information relevant to your articles. What it boils down to is that SEO is a very beneficial practice, but only when it is used properly. By taking the time to figure out what works and what doesn't, as well as making sure that you follow the rules, you'll be much better able to benefit from the use of SEO in your business marketing strategy.
